Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Lesson Bookings & Cancellations

  • Lesson slots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once a booking is confirmed by phone, WhatsApp, email, or our online booking form.
  • If you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed lessons without notice, may be charged in full, and no refund will be issued.
  • We understand emergencies happen — if something genuinely unexpected comes up, get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll always try to be reasonable.

2. Payment

We do not charge a booking fee to reserve a slot. Payment for individual lessons is due at the start of each lesson unless a course package (Refresher Training or Beginner Package) has been agreed and paid for in advance.

3. Course Packages

  • Prepaid course packages (e.g. Refresher Training, Beginner Package) are non-refundable once lessons within the package have begun, except where required by law.
  • Unused lessons within a valid package can be rescheduled in line with the 48-hour notice period above and do not expire, provided reasonable ongoing progress is made.

4. Lateness & No-Shows

Please be ready at the agreed pick-up point at the scheduled lesson time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting us, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and charged in full. If we are running late, we’ll always let you know by phone or WhatsApp.

5. Instructor Cancellations

On the rare occasion we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson (for example, due to illness, vehicle issues, or severe weather), we will give you as much notice as possible and offer the next available slot with no charge to you.

6. Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis where a cancellation falls outside the terms above or where we have been unable to deliver a paid-for lesson. To request a refund, contact us at info@masterthewheel.co.uk.
